| Wellness was not always a priority in my life. After my mother’s death from heart disease at an early age, I began to examine my own behaviors and how they could be affecting my health and overall well-being. I knew I wanted to be healthy, but what did that mean? |
I made the decision to transition from a sales and marketing career in the technology sector, to one that was directly involved in promoting and helping others in the health and wellness arena. I invested over three years in education and training. Through this process, I made the changes in my own life that have provided me with the wellness I was striving for. This first-hand experience has been beneficial in relating to and helping my clients. The process has proven to be transformational for many people. As a Personal Trainer and Health and Fitness Specialist, I have been able to help people incorporate exercise and fitness into their lives. Realizing that there was much more involved in becoming healthy, I became a certified Wellness Coach so that I could further support all areas of health and well-being. I am fully committed to my clients’ success and value each person’s individuality and uniqueness. Living in the Pacific Northwest, I am fortunate to live near water and the mountains. Some of my favorite outdoor activities include hiking, snowshoeing and kayaking. I love to travel and explore countries around the world. When not outdoors, I am an avid reader and hockey fan! |
